Washington to Peoria Run
A Bit of Background
The St. Jude Washington to Peoria Run was started in 2008 when a group of Washington runners from the Bloomington-Normal run decided to start a run in their hometown. That run has now raised a total of over $3.5 million in 15 years.
The run consists of approximately 26 miles divided into 22 legs. The legs vary from 1 - 3 miles and are run at a 11:15 pace for most of the run. Each runner is required to raise a minimum of $1000. If multiple family members register to run, it is $750 for each additional runner.
